Before Unleashing the Power of YT27 Pneumatic Rock Drill:Understanding Pneumatic Rock Drills: What Are They?
2. Safety first! Tap the roof near the work area to identify and address any loose or unstable rocks, securing the working environment.
3. Prepare your drilling site meticulously. Flatten the area where the drilling will commence to prevent the drill from slipping or the hole from shifting.
4. Wet drilling is essential—never attempt dry drilling. Start with water, then air; reverse this order when shutting down. Begin drilling slowly and only accelerate once a certain depth is achieved.
5. For safety, drillers must refrain from wearing gloves while operating the drill.
6. Mind your stance when using the air leg to drill. Never use your body weight for pressure or stand directly in front of the drill to avoid injury from broken parts.
7. Should you hear unusual sounds or notice irregular water flow, halt operations immediately. Inspect and resolve any issues before proceeding.
8. When withdrawing the drill or replacing the brazing rod, run the drill slowly and remain aware of the braze position to ensure safety.
