2. Thoroughly inspect the overhead area near your working face for any loose or precarious rocks. Address these potential hazards proactively before initiating operations.
3. Guarantee that the working surface is confidently flat to prevent any risky slippage or unwanted displacement during the drilling process.
4. Always engage in wet drilling—never dry. Initiate operations with water, follow with wind, and reverse this order when ceasing activity. Begin at a gentle speed, transitioning to full throttle once you've achieved a satisfactory depth.
5. Under no circumstances should drillers wear gloves during operation.
