Before Using the YT29A Rock Drill:
1. Ensure every component, including the rock drill, bracket, or rock drill cart, is in pristine condition and generously lubricated. Confirm wind and water pathways are unobstructed and that all connection joints are securely fastened.
2. Thoroughly inspect the roof near the working face for any loose or unstable rocks, and address any issues to ensure safety before commencing operations.
3. Guarantee a level working surface prior to drilling to prevent any potential slippage or displacement during operation.
4. Always initiate drilling with water to prevent dry drilling damage. Start with water followed by wind during operation, reversing this sequence when stopping. Begin the drill at low speed, shifting to full speed only after achieving a certain depth.
5. Operators should refrain from wearing gloves while handling the drill to maintain maximum control and safety.
6. Maintain an appropriate standing posture and positioning when using the air leg. Avoid exerting pressure with your body and ensure not to stand directly in front of the rock drill to prevent injuries from any potential broken brazing rods.
7. If you encounter abnormal sounds or unexpected water discharge, stop the machine immediately, conduct a thorough inspection, and address any issues before resuming operations.
8. During the withdrawal of the rock drill or replacement of the brazing rod, operate the drill slowly and remain attentive to the position of the brazing rod to prevent mishaps.
