YT27 rock drills before use:What is a pneumatic rock drill? A pneumatic rock drill is a versatile and efficient tool powered by compressed air, designed to penetrate tough rock surfaces. This innovative equipment is essential for mining and construction industries, delivering robust performance and exceptional drilling precision.
2. Conduct a thorough inspection by tapping the roof near the working face, diligently checking for live and loose rocks in the roof and second gang adjacent to the working face. Execute any essential reinforcements or treatments to ensure safety and stability.
3. The flat shell hole location on the working surface must be uniformly leveled ahead of time to facilitate rock drilling. This preemptive measure is crucial in averting any slippage or unintended displacement of the shell hole.
4. The strict prohibition of dry eye drilling mandates that wet rock drilling is adhered to. Begin operations by activating the water flow before the wind, and upon completion, halt the wind flow prior to stopping the water. Initiate drilling at a modest pace and, upon achieving a certain depth, accelerate to full speed for optimal penetration.
5. For safety, it is imperative that drillers refrain from wearing gloves during drilling operations.
6. When leveraging the air leg for hole drilling, maintain an appropriate stance and position. Never exert pressure using your body, and avoid standing directly in front of the rock drill beneath the work brazing rod to minimize the risk of injury from potential breakage.
7. Should any unsettling sounds or irregular water discharge arise during rock drilling, cease operations immediately for a thorough inspection. Identify and rectify the underlying cause before resuming the drilling process.
8. Upon retracting the rock drill or exchanging the brazing rod, operate the rock drill at a slow pace, staying vigilant to the brazing rod's position to ensure seamless and safe transitions.
