Precautions:
1. Ensure the air pick is well-lubricated with oil prior to each use.
2. Maintain a stock of at least 3 spare air picks, with each limited to a maximum continuous usage of 2.5 hours.
3. During operation, maintain a firm grip on the handle and exert pressure in the direction of the chisel to ensure the pick remains securely in the socket.
4. Choose a clean, uncontaminated trachea, and verify that the joint is securely connected.
5. Avoid fully inserting picks and drills into fractured objects to prevent damaging air strikes.
6. Should the pickaxe get lodged in a titanium lump, refrain from shaking violently to avoid damage.
7. Select picks and drills based on the hardness of the titanium lump. Use shorter picks and drills for harder lumps, and monitor shank temperature to prevent sticking.
8. Address any burrs immediately; refrain from using burrs for drilling.
